Condo Versus a Hotel Room

Honua Kai is a Real Condo – not a Hotel Room

With the exception of a few timeshares and 35 year old condos ALL the units for rent on Ka’anapali Beach are the typical hotel room.  You’ve stayed in hotel rooms – they are one room and a bathroom.  Just trying to find a comfortable chair to read from is a chore.  Why on earth stay at a hotel room when on Ka’anapali beach Maui when, for the same money, you can stay at a 5-star modern condo.

For a family of 2 – 4 a 1-bedroom is just fine.  It has the main living room, like the above photo, a bedroom, FULL kitchen, and bathroom.

The Honua Kai lanais are incorporated into the living room and you just unfold the glass doors to open your living room to Maui.  There is a special bug screen that can be drawn to keep out bugs but there are no bugs around the Honua Kai.

Need something bigger?

Need something bigger?

If a 1-bedroom is not big enough the 2-bedrooms or 3-bedrooms should to the trick.  Notice how this feels like your home and not some dinky hotel room down the road.

So don’t spend even a day in a hotel room – spend your vacation at the Honua Kai.

It just feels like home

It just feels like home

Honua Kai is a condo complex and it just “feels better” than a hotel complex.  Many of the folks you see there are owners, like us, and we treat the place like our home because it is!  Drop by for a visit and see for yourself.

Washer/dryer in each villa

The average length of stay, on Maui, is 9 days – when folks pay the airfare to get to Maui they stay a week and a half.  Simple things like drying a wet bathing suit are so much simpler when you can throw them into the dryer and grab a snack and sit out on the lanai and watch the Pacific Ocean.  Hotel rooms don’t have things like this.

So, in conclusion, for the same money stay at the Honua Kai and not some 35+ year old hotel room down the beach.
